Lack of quality entertainment in the reality shows.

Unread postby beckyv1265 » Mon Jul 09, 2012 9:48 am

Every day it seams like a new reality show pops up. So many are just sh*t. Like the new Mountain men series. Really? I had such high hopes at least from the hippy guy in the North Carolina mountains. With a name like Eustice I figured he would be good at tanning a hide or at least doing some how to stuff. Wow what a disapointment. He spends the entire time talking about the lien on his property and manufacturing some new way to pay it. The old guy in Montana is likable but can barely get around. He has his younger keeper with him all the time or someone chasing after him. last episode he spent chasing wolves all over the woods. Dumbass! The guy that traps in Alaska is a real nutball. No one can be that stupid and survive. The idiot managed to run over his own glasses in the last episode. Why do we have such poor efforts at entertainment? Why are reality shows so fake? Isn't that an oxymoron? I am so tempted to rig my house with cameras and start posting some reality for the masses. I would probably get rich, people are so stupid with the crap that they watch. Its no wonder we are failing as a nation. They are mind F&%king us into submision. lol

When you program your computer to do a specific thing, your computer will do that specific thing, and nothing else. Turn off your TV guys, there is a reason why it is called TV Programming. It sure ain't programming your Television.

lol I love my TV. I try and find good quality programing. My rant was about thats its harder to find these days. I think a mountain man show would be a great idea if it actualy showed real mountain men doing real survival things. My diapointment was in the stupidity of the show itself. I know there are some great mountain people living a great existance. Where are they? I want more practical shows on real stuff that I can use. I am tired of Jersey shores and The bachelor. I want to see more good shows on how to do stuff. That was a pitiful attempt at prtraying mountain people. I was offended as a mountain woman.

You are welcome. I watched Falling Skies last night and this season so far looks like it will be promising. I think they may have had time to actualy get a beter prepaired story line. Last season left me wanting for more substance. I am keeping my fingers crossed that this season will be better.
